How does the dress rental process work?

Renting a dress from revu is simple! Browse our collection, select your favorite dress, choose your rental period, and place your order. We’ll ship the dress to you in time for your event, and afterward, you can return it using the prepaid shipping label and return parcel included with your order.
How far in advance should I book my rental?

We recommend booking your dress rental at least three weeks in advance of your event date, to ensure availability and allow time for processing and shipping.

How do I know what size to order?

Each dress listing includes a detailed measurement listing and style descripion. If you're unsure abou your size or how to take your measurements, check out our resources page or contact us at hello@shoprevu.com for a personalized sizing and styling consultation.
What if the dress doesn’t fit?

If the dress doesn’t fit, please do not remove the tag. We offer free exchanges and will do our best to get the best fit for you as quickly as possible. Contact us immediately at hello@shoprevu.com in the case of any fit issues.

How do you ensure the cleanliness of your inventory?

We take cleanliness very seriously. After each rental, every dress undergoes a professional cleaning process. Our cleaning partners use eco-friendly methods to ensure each dress is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and steamed before it’s made available for the next rental or sale. You can rest assured that your dress will arrive in pristine, picture-perfect condition.
What happens if I accidentally damage the dress?

We understand that accidents happen! If the damage is minor (light marks or stains), we’ll take care of the stain removal at no additional cost to you. For significant damages that render the dress unwearable, you may be responsible for the full retail price of the dress.
How long is the rental period?

Our standard rental period is 5 days. This allows you to receive the dress a few days before your event and return it a few days after. Traveling or need more time, choose from flexible rental periods up to 5 weeks. Of course, you can always purchase the dress as well by selecting “Buy” instead of “Rent.”

How do I return my rental?

Returning your dress rental is easy! There is no need to launder your dress before returning it to us. We utilize USPS for all shipping and returns. Fold or roll your dress and place it inside the return package. Tape the prepaid return label to your package and place it in your mailbox for pickup or you can drop it off at any USPS location.

What if I return the dress late?

Late returns will incur an additional fee. If you anticipate a delay, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid extra charges.

Do you allow customizations or alterations?

Yes, basic alterations, such as hemming and strap shortening, are permitted on all of our dress rentals. Please just let us know how the gown was altered. 

Do you offer customizations or alterations?

While we don’t offer alterations ro tailoring, we do provide alteration tips, and guidelines. Check out our Resources page to learn more. Minor adjustments can often be made by a local tailor to achieve the perfect fit.
